Youth Ministry Director: Kara Thurston

Hi, I am Kara Thurston. I was a Liberty University student majoring in Physical and Health Education but plan to return for Psychology.

You may have already seen me here at Heritage, as a Nursery room staffer or working down in our Preschool.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, with an older and younger brothers.

I also was active in a youth group at a United Methodist Church Georgia.

Some hobbies of mine include working out, crocheting, puzzling and playing sports with my friends.

I will be married in May and am excited for the new opportunity to work with the youth of Heritage UMC!
