Discovery Music Leader: Don Ogle

 

 

It has been my pleasure to lead the Discovery Band since 2015.

Prior to that, I participated as a singer and musician since joining Heritage UMC in the fall of 2001.

I have played piano since elementary school, although my emphasis in college was in French Horn while receiving a degree in Music Education from Radford (then) College.

I am very proud to be a part of the 8-piece Discovery Band as we help to lead worship in a contemporary style each Sunday at 9:00 AM, both for worshippers in person and via live stream on our web page and Facebook.  I hope you will join us in worship each week.

My favorite Bible verse is Romans 12:12 in NIV.

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
